The death of Aimé Saulnier, 79, of Memramcook East occurred at Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital following a lengthy illness.

Born in Memramcook East he was a son of the late Aimé and Marie (Landry) Saulnier.

Besides his wife, the former Annie Melanson, he is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Laurie Boudreau (Loretta) of Memramcook East, Mrs. Yvon Belliveau (Dorilla) of Memramcook, Mrs. Léonard Dupuis (Corinne) of Memramcook East, Mrs. Arthur H. LeBlanc (Marguerite) of Memramcook East and Mrs. Aurèle Bourgeois (Geneviève) of Moncton; two sons, Yvon and Léo both of Memramcook East; two sisters, Mrs. Levi Bastarache (Anna) and Mrs. Andrew Gagnon (Vitaline) both of Moncton; one brother, Willie of Rhode Island; 32 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

The body is resting at Dupuis’ funeral home with funeral mass to be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church in Memramcook East.
